Child Dental Benefits Scheme
In line with helping children have good oral health, the Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS) is now available. This Medicare scheme covers up to $1,000 of dental treatments over two years for eligible kids and teenagers (aged 2 to 17) of families already receiving the Family Tax Benefit Part A or another relevant Australian Government payment. Here basic dental services are already covered including dental check-ups, cleaning, fillings, x-rays and fissure sealing as well as root canal treatment and extractions.
